dotastronomy, day three

Today Pepe and Goodman (both Harvard) gave very nice talks about the universe of seamless-astronomy things they work on, including the ADS All-Sky Survey (on which I am a collaborator). Both of them did some nice advertising of Astrometry.net too, which pleased me. In the afternoon unconference session, a group of us got the idea of starting a astronomical data sciences consulting company, which would provide vertically integrated services for people with large data problems, and also pay salaries to my people (read: dotastronomy participants and the like-minded).
